About this extension
AO3 Filter gives you complete control over your Archive of Our Own browsing experience. Block or hide works by author, fandom, tag, language, individual work, word, or anonymous status with just a few clicks.
Quickly block content with in-page buttons or Alt + Click any tag or fandom. Use Pause/Resume to temporarily disable filtering without losing your block list.
Kudos-to-Hits ratio badges help you quickly spot well-received works. Blocked works can be collapsed into compact placeholders, with the ability to edit block reasons directly on the page.
Manage everything from My Blocks, with search, per-category controls, custom block reasons, and clipboard-based JSON import/export. The Word Blacklist supports filtering by title, author, tags, fandom, and summary, with whole-word and Unicode-aware matching.
Filters are stored locally and automatically applied across AO3 pages, with changes updating open pages without requiring a manual refresh. Includes support for mobile layouts.
