Ad Redirect Remover by dankwon

Ad Redirect Remover skips ad and search click-trackers and opens the real destination page, with or without an ad blocker.

When you click an ad, the browser often goes through a tracker URL (for example Bing aclick or Google aclk) whose query string contains the merchant link. If that host is on the downloaded AdGuard DNS list or a local path rule matches, the extension unwraps immediately so you land on the merchant page. An ad blocker is optional.

If a tracker is blocked at DNS or by a client filter but is not on the list yet, the extension still unwraps after a navigation error.

Search result pages are left alone. google.com/search and bing.com/search are never unwrapped. Google unwrap is limited to /url and /aclk; Bing unwrap is limited to /aclick and /ck/a.

The domain list is a text file (default: AdGuard DNS filter), stored on your device and refreshed about once a day. You can turn the extension off, update the list immediately, or add extra domains in the popup. List files are data only; remote scripts are not executed.

Firefox for Android: if unwrap does not run, open the popup and tap Grant access.

This add-on does not run on iOS Firefox.
