AI Pilot is a browser extension that lets an AI model of your choice act in your browser tabs. This policy explains what data the extension handles.


When you send a chat message or start a task, the extension transmits:

• your chat messages, and
• the page content needed to act (page address, title, visible text, and the buttons/fields it can use)

exclusively to the LLM provider you configure in the extension settings. Nothing is sent anywhere else. The author of AI Pilot never sees, collects, or stores your data.

• Password field contents are excluded from page snapshots and are never sent.
• Your API key is stored only in the browser's local extension storage and is sent only to your configured provider as authentication.
• No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no error reporting.

Chat and model discovery stay fully disabled until you accept data transmission on the extension's options page (opened automatically on install). Declining keeps the extension disabled; you can change your choice there at any time.


Settings (providers, active model, consent choice) are kept in the browser's local extension storage. Conversations live in memory per tab and are discarded when the tab closes. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.
