About this extension

Daypu is a free, privacy-respecting Amazon price tracker and price comparison
add-on for Firefox. It shows you the full Amazon price history of a product,
compares the same item across European stores, and sends a price drop alert when
it gets cheaper — all without following you around the web.

Most "deals" aren't deals. Daypu exists to settle that in one glance: open a
product page, and a small widget shows the current price, its history over time,
and which other supported store sells it for less.

WHAT YOU GET
• Amazon price history — a clear timeline of how the price has moved, so a
crossed-out "sale" price can't fool you.
• Price comparison — Daypu looks up the same product at other supported European
retailers and points you to the cheapest one.
• Price drop alerts — pick a target price and Daypu notifies you when a product
you're tracking reaches it. Background price checks are optional, off by
default, and run only while Firefox is open.
• On-page, not in-the-way — the widget appears on the product pages you're
already browsing. Nothing to copy, no second tab.
• Built for Europe — the UK, Germany, France, Poland, the Netherlands, Italy and
Spain, each with its local stores and currency.

BUILT TO RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY
Firefox users expect tools that mind their own business, and Daypu is built that
way:
• It reads only the product name and price on the shopping pages you choose to
open — nothing else on the page.
• It does not record or send your browsing history.
• It never sells or shares your data with third parties.
• Your account, settings and tracked products stay tied to your own Daypu
account over HTTPS.
