Where it runs
Only on pages under collaborativedrug.com, the CDD Vault web application. It does not load on any other site and has no access to other tabs.

What it reads
The extension reads the same data CDD Vault already sends to your browser for the page you have open — ELN entries, samples, batches, locations, plates — in order to show it in the sample panel, copy it to your clipboard, print it, or fill in a CDD form for you. It acts under your own CDD login and can do nothing your account cannot.

What it stores
Your settings: which panel fields you show, prefix colours, the width of a panel, saved phrases, and similar preferences. They are kept with the browser's extension storage (the only permission the extension asks for) and stay on your computer. Uninstalling the extension removes them.

What leaves your browser
Nothing. There is no backend, no analytics, no crash reporting, no account, and no remote code. The only network requests the extension makes are to the CDD Vault server you are already logged into, on your behalf, for actions you triggered — the same requests the CDD page itself would make.

Not a CDD product
CDD Stoich Tools is an open-source extension written by users of CDD Vault. Collaborative Drug Discovery does not build, endorse, or support it, and has no access to anything through it.
