About this extension
Sticky notes that stay stuck to the page, not to your browser.
Put a note anywhere on any web page. It stays at that exact spot in the document — scroll, and it scrolls with the content like part of the site. Close the tab, close the browser, come back next week and open the same URL: the note is still there, in the same place.
Everything stays on your machine. Notes live in the extension's own database. There is no account, no sync, no server and no analytics. Clearing your cache, your cookies or your site data does not touch them.
Nothing is injected until you say so. No site receives a single byte of this extension until you click the toolbar button and grant it — this site, this domain, or all sites, whichever you choose. That is why installing asks for no website access at all, and why you can revoke it at any time without losing a note.
What a note can hold
Making it yours
Finding things again
Keeping out of the way
One optional network request, and only if you ask
The extension can check whether a newer version has been released. It is off unless you turn it on, it asks for its own permission the first time, and it reads a public version number and nothing else — no cookies, no referrer, nothing about you. Leave it off and the extension never touches the network at all.
Free and open source, MPL-2.0. The full source, and the reasoning behind every decision, is at

What a note can hold
- Markdown — headings, bold, lists, quotes, code, links, and task lists you can tick
- Images, pasted or dragged straight in
- Freehand drawing, with a pen and an eraser
- Right-to-left and left-to-right text, decided per paragraph, so Persian and English can share one note
Making it yours
- Eight palettes, or any colour you like
- Torn edges, paper grain, tape, shadow — or a clean rectangle if you prefer
- Set any note's look, then save it as the default for every note after it
- Notes behave like paper when you drag them: they tilt, they lag, they swing from the corner you grabbed
Finding things again
- A cabinet with a drawer per site, full-text search and multi-select
- A trash you can restore from
- Export everything as one ZIP — every note, its position, its style, its images — and keep it wherever you like
Keeping out of the way
- Undo and redo across everything: typing, colour, moving, resizing, drawing, deleting
- Turn notes off for one tab, or for a whole site
- Nothing animates when nothing is happening, so an idle tab with notes on it costs no processor time
