Welcome to Clipper: One 2 Notion (hereinafter referred to as "One 2 Notion", "the Extension", or "we"). One 2 Notion is a high-performance productivity tool designed for knowledge workers to deliver the ultimate Notion web clipping experience. We strictly adhere to the core privacy principle of "Local Processing & Direct Client-to-Notion Architecture", and we never snoop on, collect, broker, or sell your personal knowledge assets.


  • Direct Client-to-Notion Transmission: When you explicitly initiate a clip, the Extension parses, formats, and converts webpage content entirely inside your local browser runtime. The resulting structured blocks are transmitted directly to your private Notion workspace via official Notion endpoints.
  • Enterprise Email & PDF Invoice Handling: When clipping emails or tickets from Gmail or Microsoft 365 / Outlook (outlook.office.com, outlook.live.com, outlook.cloud.microsoft), the parsing of conversation threads and the download of user-authorized PDF attachments (e.g. receipts, invoices) occur strictly within your local browser session before being directly uploaded to Notion S3.
  • Zero Middleman Storage: Our proprietary backend servers never access, relay, inspect, store, or analyze any of your clipped articles, email threads, notes, images, or PDF attachments.
  • Pure Content Guarantee: All content saved to your Notion database belongs solely to you. We never inject promotional watermarks, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing scripts into your notes.
  • Frictionless Zero-Config Onboarding: To grant you an unrestricted 5-Day (120-Hour) Free Trial and manage Pro lifetime licenses, the Extension only reads your publicly available Notion User ID from your active browser session and generates a unique license identifier (e.g., ONE-XXXXXX).
  • Multi-Device Entitlement Synchronization: We record only your license activation status, trial expiration timestamp, and device count to automatically restore your Pro access across multiple devices using the same Notion account.
  • If you participate in our affiliate referral program, our system records referral attribution codes to calculate and disburse commissions.
  • Payout information submitted by affiliates (such as payout email, bank account, or payment identifiers) is strictly utilized for identity verification and payout settlement, and is never used for advertising or marketing profiling.
  • To diagnose formatting regressions and runtime exceptions, the Extension may transmit minimal, anonymized error stack traces and version identifiers. This telemetry strictly excludes any webpage DOM content, clipping payloads, or Personally Identifiable Information (PII).



The Extension strictly adheres to the principle of least privilege required by the Google Chrome Web Store:
  • activeTab & scripting: Invoked strictly upon explicit user interaction (toolbar click or shortcut keys) to inspect current tab metadata, extract readable article content, capture selected screenshot regions, or render the inline annotation toolbar.
  • storage: Used solely to persist your local user preferences, clipping history cache, custom database property presets, and UI theme settings on your local machine.
  • cookies: Scoped exclusively to https://*.notion.so and https://*.notion.com to verify your active Notion login session (token_v2) for seamless zero-configuration clipping.
  • contextMenus: Provides quick right-click shortcuts ("Clip selection to Notion" and "Clip image to Notion").
  • alarms: Runs lightweight background maintenance once every 30 minutes to clean expired local temporary cache and throttle background license verification.
  • offscreen: Operates an isolated sandboxed document to perform heavy HTML-to-Markdown parsing and multi-frame canvas stitching for full-page screenshots, completely eliminating UI thread freezing.

  • Industry-Standard Encryption: All network communications with Notion API and our service endpoints are enforced via TLS 1.3 / HTTPS encryption in transit.
  • Third-Party Service Providers:
    • Notion Labs, Inc.: Hosts and stores your saved notes, databases, and uploaded media attachments.
    • Payment Processors (WeChat Pay, Creem.io): Handle secure checkout transactions. One 2 Notion never handles, processes, or stores your credit card numbers or financial passwords.
  • Zero Data Commercialization: We pledge never to sell, rent, lease, or monetize user data to any advertisers, data brokers, or credit bureaus.
  • Single-Purpose Commitment: User data is accessed strictly to deliver the stated core web clipping functionality.

  • You may clear your local clipping history cache at any time within the Extension's settings panel.
  • When you uninstall One 2 Notion from your browser, all local cached configurations, authentication tokens, and user preferences stored on your computer are immediately and permanently erased.



One 2 Notion is designed for adult professionals and knowledge workers. We do not knowingly target or collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe that a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us for immediate deletion.



We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect product enhancements and regulatory standards. Any material changes will be announced on our official website or within the Extension, alongside an updated Effective Date. Continued use of the Extension following such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
