- Controller and contact
CStatTrak is the data controller for the processing described in this policy. It is an independent service hosted on sysinov.fr. For questions about your data or to request its deletion, please contact contact.cstattrak@gmail.com. - How CStatTrak works
CStatTrak enhances the FACEIT experience by displaying game statistics, community ratings and match-related tools. The extension operates only on FACEIT pages to which the user has granted it access.
CStatTrak never asks for your FACEIT password and does not send your FACEIT cookies to its server. Statistics requests made from a FACEIT page remain directed to FACEIT services.
A FACEIT OAuth connection is required to use the extension. FACEIT confirms the player ID and nickname; the authorization code is exchanged only by the CStatTrak server.
A clearly labelled sponsored panel may appear in FACEIT Match Rooms while CStatTrak has an active campaign. You can disable the panel in the extension settings.
- Data processed
FACEIT data
FACEIT player ID;
nickname and public profile information;
match statistics, Rating, Swing, K/D, Elo and skill level;
public match-room, team and map information.
Community ratings
FACEIT ID of the author and rated player;
mentality, communication and teamplay scores;
optional personal comment;
creation and last-modified timestamps.
Data stored locally
extension language and settings;
the sponsored-panel display preference;
detected FACEIT ID and nickname;
temporary statistics caches;
FACEIT rate-limit status.
an encrypted CStatTrak OAuth session; the decryption key is kept separately in Chrome’s extension storage.
Technical data
IP address or derived identifier in security logs;
requested endpoint, date, status and error information;
data strictly required to prevent abuse.
a hashed session identifier until its expiration when the user signs out, so that the session can be revoked.
campaign ID, hashed FACEIT player and match identifiers, impression timestamp, visible area and visibility duration when an active sponsored panel is actually viewed.
campaign ID and click event ID transmitted with the authenticated account and current match ID; click records retain only the campaign ID, timestamp and an anti-duplicate event fingerprint.
Sources and required data
Data comes from information entered voluntarily by the user, public or authenticated FACEIT pages and APIs, and the technical operation of the extension and CStatTrak server.
The FACEIT ID, nickname and OAuth session data are required to authenticate the user and provide connected features. Without them, CStatTrak cannot provide community ratings or server-backed features.
Ratings, comments, reports, suggestions and the sponsored-panel preference are optional. Not providing them does not prevent use of the other available features.
CStatTrak processes the current FACEIT route and page content only to activate the relevant features. It does not create or retain a general history of websites visited and does not collect precise GPS location.
- Purposes
This data is used exclusively to:
display the requested FACEIT statistics and information;
associate a contribution with a FACEIT profile;
prevent duplicate ratings and self-ratings;
calculate community averages;
retrieve and update personal ratings;
measure non-personalized sponsored-panel impressions and clicks, with visibility checks for impressions, authentication, rate limits and duplicate checks;
protect the service against abuse and diagnose errors.
CStatTrak does not sell data, use it for personalized advertising or transfer it to data brokers.
CStatTrak’s use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
- Legal bases
Providing the requested extension service, OAuth session and settings is based on performance of the service requested by the user (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Voluntary ratings, comments, reports and suggestions are processed on the basis of the user’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which may be withdrawn for the future at any time.
Service security, abuse prevention, calculation of community averages from submitted ratings and measurement of non-personalized sponsored impressions are based on CStatTrak’s legitimate interests in operating, protecting and funding the service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), without overriding users’ rights and freedoms. - Recipients and external services
Only persons operating CStatTrak and its technical hosting providers may access personal data when this is necessary for operation, security, support or moderation.
CStatTrak server
Community ratings, personal comments, sponsored-panel impression and click events, and technical information required by the service are transmitted over HTTPS to the CStatTrak API hosted on sysinov.fr.
FACEIT
The extension queries FACEIT services to display profiles and statistics. This processing remains subject to FACEIT’s own terms and privacy policy.
Google Forms
Bug reports, suggestions and rating reports are sent first to the CStatTrak server, which forwards them to Google Forms and verifies whether delivery succeeded. Depending on the action, this may include the submitted message, the reported player’s nickname, a rating identifier, the relevant scores, the comment attached to a rating and the report reason. Information is sent only when the user voluntarily uses the corresponding button. Google then processes this information under its privacy policy.
Google may process Forms submissions outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are governed by the safeguards described by Google, including applicable adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards. Users should consult Google’s privacy policy for current details.
- Sponsored content
A sponsored panel is displayed only when CStatTrak activates a single campaign on its own server. Campaign text, images and destination links are supplied by the CStatTrak server; no third-party advertising script, advertising request, tracking pixel or advertising cookie is loaded.
On Firefox, the sponsored panel and the measurement of its impressions and clicks are enabled only if the user grants the optional “Technical and Interaction Data” permission. Refusing or withdrawing this permission does not affect the extension’s other features.
An impression is counted only when at least 50% of the panel is visible for one second. The authenticated FACEIT player ID and match ID are transmitted securely to CStatTrak solely to verify the impression and prevent duplicate counting; both identifiers are hashed before storage. A new view of the same match by the same player can be counted again only after ten minutes.
Sponsors may receive aggregated campaign reports, such as impression and click totals, unique-viewer counts, unique-match counts and estimated campaign value. These reports do not include FACEIT player IDs, match IDs, browsing histories, profile details, reputation data or personal comments.
A sponsor website opens only after a deliberate click. CStatTrak counts eligible clicks through an authenticated request, subject to rate limits and duplicate checks. The stored click record contains the campaign ID, server timestamp and an anti-duplicate event fingerprint, not the FACEIT player or match ID. A counting failure does not prevent the sponsor website from opening. The destination website applies its own privacy policy.
Some sponsor links are affiliate links and may earn CStatTrak a commission. Affiliate attribution is handled by the destination website under its own terms and privacy policy.
No FACEIT data, profile information, browsing activity or other user data is used to select or personalize the sponsored panel.
- Visibility of contributions
community averages and vote counts are visible to CStatTrak users;
detailed ratings may be displayed without revealing their author’s identity;
a personal comment is shown privately only to the user who entered it;
a comment may nevertheless be shared with service operators and Google Forms when a rating is voluntarily reported. - Moderation
Users can report feedback displayed on their own FACEIT profile from the extension. Reports are reviewed, and CStatTrak may remove abusive, hateful, spam, fraudulent or deliberately misleading content. A moderation request can also be sent to the contact address above. - Retention
local settings and caches remain on the device until they are cleared or the extension is uninstalled;
statistics caches are refreshed automatically when they expire;
ratings and comments are kept until they are updated, deleted on request or the service is discontinued;
rate-limit information is temporary and renewed at the end of its control window;
pending OAuth flows expire after 10 minutes; active OAuth sessions last up to 60 days and may be renewed while the extension is used;
technical logs are retained for up to 90 days, except when a longer period is strictly necessary to investigate a specific security incident;
bug reports, suggestions and rating reports sent to Google Forms are retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymized;
hashed sponsored-impression records are retained for 395 days and are then deleted automatically.
Click records are not currently purged automatically; they remain until removed by the service operator.
revoked session identifiers are deleted automatically no later than the original session expiration. - Security
Communications between the extension, FACEIT, Google Forms and the CStatTrak server use HTTPS. The API accepts the published Chrome extension origin, restricts endpoints and methods, applies rate limiting and does not expose server configuration secrets. OAuth sessions are encrypted locally and can be revoked server-side. - Your rights
Depending on the processing and its legal basis, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of data associated with your FACEIT ID, and withdraw consent at any time for future processing, by emailing contact.cstattrak@gmail.com. A reasonable FACEIT identity check may be required to prevent deletion of another person’s data.
CStatTrak will respond without undue delay and normally within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL. cnil.fr.
- Automated decisions
CStatTrak does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects and does not profile users for advertising. - Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated before any material change to data practices. The last-updated date shown at the top of this page identifies the applicable version.
