About this extension
Football Tournament Planner is a simple, fully offline tool for running your own small football tournaments — office cups, school competitions, or friendly leagues.
Create a tournament, add your own teams, and choose Round Robin (everyone plays everyone) or Knockout (single elimination, best with 4, 8, or 16 teams). The extension automatically generates the full match schedule for you.
Enter match results by hand as games are played. Standings update instantly — Played, Won, Drawn, Lost, Goals For/Against, Goal Difference, and Points, sorted the way real league tables are.
Everything runs entirely inside the extension popup. There is no server, no API, no live scores, no betting content, and no internet connection required at any point — it works exactly the same with Wi-Fi off. Your tournament data is saved locally on your device using Firefox's built-in storage, and you can export it to a JSON file (or import one back in) whenever you like.
Features:
- Create tournaments with a custom name and format
- Add, rename, and remove teams with auto-generated abbreviations
- Automatic fixture generation for Round Robin and Knockout formats
- Manual result entry with automatic standings and stats
- Light and dark themes
- Export/import your tournament as a local file
- Safe reset with confirmation
- Fully keyboard-accessible interface
No accounts. No ads. No tracking. No data ever leaves your browser.
