geminisearch is a browser extension that pre-fills (and optionally submits) the
prompt input on gemini.google.com based on URL query parameters (?q=,
?autosubmit=).


geminisearch does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data.
It contains no analytics, no tracking, and no network requests of its own.


The extension runs a content script only on https://gemini.google.com/*. That
script reads the current page URL, extracts the q and autosubmit parameters,
and writes that text into the Gemini chat input using standard browser APIs. All
processing happens locally in your browser.

Any prompt you send is handled entirely by Google's Gemini service according to
Google's own privacy policy, exactly as if you had typed it by hand.


The extension requests no permissions. Its content script is scoped to
gemini.google.com only.
