GifGrab does not send browsing activity, website content, downloaded media, or queue information to Good Tools, advertisers, or analytics services.

When you press a collect button, the extension reads the active page address, animation links, image descriptions, and media sources only to identify the animations you asked GifGrab to collect.

The collector sends discovered page addresses, titles, media sources, and conversion choice to the GifGrab desktop app through a local connection on your own computer. This information does not pass through a Good Tools server.

The desktop app contacts the original website or its media host to resolve and download each requested file. The queue, duplicate history, downloaded files, and optional GIF conversions remain on your computer until you remove them.

GifGrab has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, remote code, or telemetry. Good Tools does not receive or sell browsing activity, website content, downloads, identifiers, or personal information.

GifGrab runs only when you use its collector controls. You can clear the local queue and history, delete downloaded files, or remove the extension and app at any time.
