Google Photos Cleaner is an unofficial Firefox extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.


Google Photos Cleaner operates only on https://photos.google.com/.

To perform actions requested by the user, the extension reads:

• Google Photos session and authentication values exposed to the Google Photos web application,
• Google Photos item identifiers,
• responses returned by the Google Photos RPC service,
• the user's requested actions, such as moving items to Trash or restoring them.

These values are required to communicate with Google Photos on behalf of the currently signed-in user.


The extension transmits the information required for the requested operation only to https://photos.google.com.

This includes authentication/session information, Google Photos item identifiers, and requests to list, move, or restore Google Photos items.

The developer does not receive this information.

The extension does not transmit data to any developer-operated server, analytics provider, advertising service, or other third party.

For Mozilla Add-ons disclosure purposes, these transmissions are declared as:

• Authentication Information
• Website Content
• Website Activity

These data categories are used exclusively to provide the extension's primary Google Photos functionality.


Google Photos session information and Google Photos item identifiers are kept only in memory while required for an operation.

They are not persistently stored by the extension.

The only setting stored persistently by the extension is the selected interface language (English or Polish).


Google Photos Cleaner does not use:

• analytics,
• telemetry,
• advertising,
• tracking technologies,
• profiling,
• external logging services.

The extension can:

• enumerate Library and Archive items,
• enumerate Trash items,
• move requested items to Trash,
• restore requested items from Trash.

The extension does not permanently empty Google Photos Trash and does not operate on Locked Folder.


If the extension's data practices change in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
