Real page screenshots stored in IndexedDB

When you save a page to the archive, Lucky Archive now captures a screenshot of the visible area using Firefox's captureVisibleTab API. The image is immediately resized to 210×130px and compressed as JPEG (quality 72%) — typically 10–15 KB per thumbnail — then stored in IndexedDB, completely separate from browser.storage.local. This means:

No storage limit pressure — IndexedDB can hold gigabytes; 1,000 thumbnails ≈ 12 MB
No RAM overhead — thumbnails are lazy-loaded one at a time only when you hover over an item
No third-party service — everything happens inside your browser, nothing leaves your machine
Fallback chain — if a screenshot exists it's shown first; if not, the site's og:image is used; if neither exists, the preview card shows title and description only
Deleting a link also deletes its thumbnail from IndexedDB
Clearing the archive clears all thumbnails
The Stats page now shows a Thumbnails KPI with count and total disk size

"Archive Tabs" button redesigned

The "Archive Tabs" button was broken in v1.7.0 — it was misaligned, overlapping the header, and the hover tooltip was distorting the layout. In v1.7.1 this has been fully corrected:

The button is now placed to the left of the Stats button, both sitting neatly in the header. The tooltip has been removed entirely — the button is wide enough to show its full label clearly without needing one. The button label also follows the selected language — switching to Turkish changes it to "Sekmeleri Arşivle", German to "Tabs archivieren", and so on across all 10 supported languages.

Buton yazısı da seçilen dile göre değişiyor — Türkçe seçilince "Sekmeleri Arşivle", Almanca'da "Tabs archivieren" gibi 10 dilde otomatik güncelleniyor.

"Archive Tabs" button redesigned

The "Archive All Tabs" button was previously a small, barely visible ⊕ icon hidden inside the search bar. It has been moved to the header, placed right next to the 📊 Stats button, and now displays a clear ⊕ Archive Tabs label so it's immediately noticeable.

Both the Stats and Archive Tabs buttons now show a tooltip on hover — a small bubble explaining what each button does, matching the style already used elsewhere in the extension.

Tooltip text is also fully translated across all 10 supported languages and updates automatically when you change the interface language.

Archive items now show a preview card when you hover over them. After 320ms the card appears beside the item showing the page's thumbnail image, title, and description — all pulled from the page's og:image, og:description, and twitter:image meta tags at the moment you save the link. No external service is used; everything is read directly from the page in your browser and stored locally. This means it works on any site including adult content platforms, because no third party ever sees the URLs. If a site doesn't provide meta images the card simply doesn't appear.

"Tüm Sekmeleri Arşivle" butonu daha önce arama çubuğunun içinde neredeyse görünmez küçük bir ⊕ simgesiydi. Artık header'a taşındı, 📊 Stats butonunun hemen yanına yerleştirildi ve ⊕ Archive Tabs etiketiyle açıkça görünür hale getirildi.

Stats ve Archive Tabs butonlarının ikisi de artık fare üzerine getirildiğinde açıklama baloncuğu gösteriyor — her butonun ne işe yaradığını özetleyen küçük bir balonluk çıkıyor.

What's new in v1.6.1

Archive All Tabs — You can now archive every open tab in your current window with a single click. Look for the ⊕ button in the search bar of the Archive panel. When clicked, a small dialog appears asking you to choose a category for all tabs. The extension then saves every valid tab — skipping duplicates and internal browser pages — and shows you a summary toast: how many were archived and how many were skipped.
