About this extension
Neatlink is a free cross-browser bookmark manager that keeps the bookmarks you already have in sync across every browser and device, with one-keystroke access on the Mac.
Save a link in Firefox at work and find it in Chrome at home, or open it in Safari on your Mac. Neatlink syncs both ways with your browser's own bookmark system, so there are no exports, no imports and no emailing links to yourself.
What you get
Privacy
Your bookmarks, folders and favicons are encrypted on your device with AES-GCM-256 before they are uploaded to a hidden folder in your own Google Drive. Neatlink runs no bookmark storage of its own; the key is derived on your device from your Google account and is never stored or sent anywhere. No analytics, no cookies, no telemetry.
Free to use. No ads, no data selling, no Neatlink account required. A Google account is required, because Google Drive is the storage. Questions: contact@neatlink.app

Save a link in Firefox at work and find it in Chrome at home, or open it in Safari on your Mac. Neatlink syncs both ways with your browser's own bookmark system, so there are no exports, no imports and no emailing links to yourself.
What you get
- Works alongside your browser's native bookmarks. No separate database, no change to how you save.
- Cross-browser sync across Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and other Chrome-compatible browsers.
- A native Mac menu-bar app (macOS 14 or later) with a global hotkey and system-search integration: find any bookmark from any app with one keystroke.
- Star any folder for one-tap access from the pinned bar.
- Trash with undo, bulk actions, drag and drop, full keyboard navigation.
- Share a folder as a link that expires after 30 days; the recipient opens it without an account and can import it in one click.
- Automatic weekly bookmark backups as standard HTML files in your own Google Drive, readable and importable by any browser, deliberately not encrypted so they still work if Neatlink is gone.
