NousCall Privacy Policy
The privacy boundary for the NousCall AI side-panel extension.

Scope and single purpose
NousCall is a browser extension whose single purpose is to place user-selected third-party AI websites in a persistent browser side panel and provide related platform-management and ChatGPT voice controls.

This policy applies specifically to NousCall. The shared NousSave website privacy policy governs general website operations that are not unique to NousCall.

AI conversations, accounts, and sessions
NousCall does not send AI prompts, replies, conversation history, page content, account credentials, authentication cookies, or provider session data to Nous servers.

You access and sign in to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, and other services directly. Those providers process your data under their own privacy policies and terms.

Local extension data
NousCall stores the following data locally in browser extension storage:

Enabled and pinned AI services, display order, active tab, language-independent UI state, appearance, and density preferences.
Lifecycle-page history, microphone notice state, one-time voice launch intent, and iframe rule status.
Telemetry consent, a random installation identifier, and pending daily aggregate counters only while telemetry is enabled.
Iframe compatibility and host permissions
Supported AI sites may block iframe embedding with response security headers. NousCall uses declarativeNetRequest to remove only the required iframe-blocking headers and only when the frame initiator is this extension.

Host access identifies the third-party AI origins that can be loaded in the side panel. It does not authorize NousCall to read or transmit your conversations to Nous servers.

Microphone and ChatGPT Voice
NousCall can request optional Chromium contentSettings access after a user starts voice. The setting is limited to ChatGPT microphone access. A separate top-level permission window may be used when the side panel cannot display the browser permission prompt.

NousCall immediately stops any temporary media stream used to obtain permission. It does not record, transcribe, retain, or upload audio. ChatGPT provides and processes the actual voice experience.

Optional usage telemetry
Telemetry is off by default. If you explicitly enable it, NousCall sends five daily aggregate counters: telemetry enabled, extension updated, platform opened, voice requested, and feedback opened. The payload also includes a random installation identifier, extension version, schema version, and aggregate period.

The shared Nous analytics service also processes standard request metadata such as IP address, country or city supplied by Cloudflare, User-Agent, browser and operating-system family, and browser language. These records use an anonymous installation identifier but are more accurately described as pseudonymous analytics data.

NousCall telemetry does not include the AI platform identifier, URL, prompt, reply, conversation content, audio, individual event timestamps, or free-form text. Turning telemetry off deletes the local identifier and pending counters and removes the optional telemetry host permission. Previously received server records follow the shared Nous analytics retention and deletion practices.

NousCall website analytics
Visits to /call pages use the shared Nous website analytics infrastructure, including a locally calculated visitor identifier, route and performance data, and standard network and browser metadata. These practices are described in the general NousSave website privacy policy.

Data sharing and Limited Use
NousCall does not sell user data and does not use it for personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising. Data is transferred only when needed to provide the extension’s disclosed purpose, comply with law, or protect users and the service from abuse.

NousCall’s use and transfer of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices and contact
You can disable telemetry at any time, clear local extension storage, revoke optional permissions in the browser, sign out of AI providers, or uninstall NousCall. For questions or data-rights requests, contact support@noussave.com.
