Privacy Policy for Plume Export

Plume Export is a browser extension that saves the conversation currently open on chat.mistral.ai as a Markdown file, copies it to the clipboard, or opens a print view so you can save it as a PDF.

What the extension does with your data

• Nothing leaves your browser. The extension has no server. It never sends the content of your conversations, your account details, or your browsing activity anywhere.
• No data collection. The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data, usage statistics, or analytics. There is no telemetry, no crash reporting, no tracking, no advertising.
• Reading the page. When you use one of its actions, the extension reads the conversation shown on the current chat.mistral.ai tab, in your browser only, and turns it into text. The result goes to a file you download, to your clipboard, or to a print view that opens in a new tab. It is not kept anywhere else.
• Settings. Your preferences (speaker labels, front matter, timestamps, reasoning steps, in-page button) are saved in your browser's extension storage, which your browser may sync between your own devices if you have enabled that. The extension does not read them anywhere else.
• Print view. To open the print view, the prepared document is written to the extension's local storage for a moment and removed as soon as the print view has displayed it.

Permissions

• storage: to save your settings and to hand the print view its content.
• Access to https://chat.mistral.ai/*: to read the conversation on that site and to add the Export button to the page. The extension does not run on any other site.

Third parties

The extension does not include third-party code, fonts, analytics or payment libraries. The "Buy me a coffee" button in the popup is a plain link to an external donation page; opening it is your choice and is subject to that site's own privacy policy. The extension does not communicate with that site.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published with the extension update and the date above will be updated.
