Prelay — NATO Phonetic Speller by MLundkvist

Prelay turns any highlighted text into its NATO/ICAO phonetic alphabet spelling — instantly,
without leaving the page.

Reading a confirmation code, license plate, order number, or callsign out loud over the phone
is where typos and mishearings happen. Prelay fixes that: highlight the text, right-click,
choose "Spell using NATO alphabet," and get back something like

X7T4P9K2 → X-ray, Seven, Tango, Four, Papa, Niner, Kilo, Two

right on the page you're already on — no copy-pasting into another app or tab.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Highlight any word, code, or ID on any webpage
2. Right-click the selection
3. Choose "Spell using NATO alphabet"

A small card appears next to your selection with the phonetic spelling, a "Speak it" button to
hear it read aloud, and a "Copy" button to grab the text. If a page won't allow the on-page
card (some browser settings pages, PDF viewers), Prelay falls back to a system notification so
you still get your answer.

PRIVACY
Prelay does nothing until you right-click a selection. It reads only the text you've
highlighted, converts it entirely in your browser, and sends nothing anywhere — no accounts,
