About this extension
ResReq accelerates API debugging and issue reporting by keeping the entire HTTP exchange together in one focused DevTools panel.

Instead of switching between multiple tabs to collect request headers, payloads, response headers, and response bodies, ResReq captures the complete interaction and lets you export it in one click.

• Complete Exchange Capture:
- Request headers (with sensitive token masking)
- Request body (JSON formatting & form-urlencoded decoding)
- Response headers & HTTP status codes
- Response body (clean JSON formatting and preview protection for large responses)
- Duration, payload size, MIME type, and cache indicators

• Flexible One-Click Export:
- Copy all: The complete exchange formatted with clear section dividers.
- Copy as cURL: Clean, shell-escaped command ready to paste into any terminal (filters internal HTTP/2 pseudo-headers and automatically manages transport headers).
- Copy as JSON: Structured schema ideal for bug trackers, Jira/GitHub tickets, and test automation.
- Section Copy: Copy individual request or response sections. Even when large responses are visually truncated, section copy always preserves the complete response body.

• Privacy First by Design:
- All network traffic is processed locally in your browser DevTools session.
- Sensitive headers (Authorization, Cookie, Set-Cookie, X-API-Key, API keys, CSRF tokens, session tokens) are masked by default.
- Click "Sensitive" to safely reveal and copy real credentials when testing.
- No background service worker, no remote telemetry, no external servers, and zero data collection.

• Developer-Focused Workflow:
- Live filter by URL substring, HTTP method, or status code.
- One-click toggle to hide CORS preflight (OPTIONS) noise.
- In-exchange search with real-time match counter.
- Native DevTools theme support.
