Rexplorer is designed to minimize data collection and does not require a Rexplorer account or Reddit login.

Rexplorer reads publicly available Reddit content in order to reorganize images, videos, galleries, and post metadata into its media-first gallery interface. Rexplorer does not post, vote, message, or modify Reddit content on behalf of the user.

User preferences, Favorites, hidden posts, Watchlist entries, layout settings, and other browsing preferences are stored locally in the browser and are not transmitted to the Rexplorer licensing server.

Rexplorer Pro uses an optional licensing service. When a user chooses to activate Pro, Firefox requests permission before licensing/authentication information is transmitted. This may include the Rexplorer license key and a randomly generated installation identifier used to manage active installations and reduce casual license sharing.

Browser family and Rexplorer version may be transmitted only when Firefox’s optional technical-data permission is enabled. The installation identifier is random and is not derived from device hardware.

Rexplorer does not transmit Reddit browsing history, Favorites, hidden posts, Watchlist contents, Reddit credentials, personal communications, or payment-card information to the licensing service.

Rexplorer does not sell user data and does not use collected data for advertising, behavioral profiling, creditworthiness, or unrelated purposes.
