Find supported MP4, WebM and M3U8/HLS media on the pages you visit, then save the selected video to your device.

Play the video, open the extension popup, choose the resource and select Download. A download page opens on gcz.gg. For supported HLS video on demand, choose an available quality and audio track, follow segment progress and save the completed file. Keep the download tab open until you save your result.

Media processing takes place in your browser. Rename the result, preview supported formats, change parallel requests and manage temporary data. The extension interface supports 17 languages; the download page supports 11 languages and falls back to English when needed.

Compatibility depends on the source and format. YouTube, DRM-protected video, DASH, live recording and POST downloads are not supported. Capturing an address does not guarantee a complete downloadable video. This version does not provide complete Bilibili or iQiyi episode downloads.

Download only media you are permitted to save. Optional download diagnostics let gcz.gg store task data, your IP address, an approximate country inferred from the IP and the selected download URL, including query parameters that may contain temporary access tokens. Authorized administrators may review these details to investigate download problems. Media files, titles, filenames, cookies and authentication request headers are not uploaded to this database. Reporting is off until you explicitly agree to this data scope; Firefox also requires its optional data permissions. Refusing or withdrawing consent does not affect downloads. Records become eligible for cleanup after the configured period, normally 30 days after the last event; cleanup may happen later. Website analytics and advertising use separate settings and consent.
