About this extension

YouTube often sends VP8 or VP9, which can stall, heat a laptop, and drain the battery when hardware decode is missing.

This add-on asks YouTube to send H.264 instead, so the GPU can decode video and playback stays smoother.

Prefer H.264 on youtube.com, youtube-nocookie.com, and youtu.be
Optional block for 60fps streams
Optional battery-only mode
4K and 1440p are often unavailable in H.264
