Summary: blas. Grammar Checker processes passive grammar checks on-device. Typed
content does not leave your browser merely because you type. Local ignores may
store short snippets on your own device so the same suggestion stays quiet;
linked ignore sync uploads only rule ids and ignore keys, not snippets. Saving a
word or writing, linking an account, submitting a false-positive report, or
using dictation are explicit user actions. Accepted-correction practice sync is
disabled in this release.

English cloud Deep Review is a separate linked Premium feature. Its setting is
enabled when its preference is absent, it can be turned off in Settings, and it
makes no request until the user explicitly clicks Deep Review. Only selected
English text and context the user chooses are sent; Celtic text is rejected. Raw
review text is not stored or used for training.

False-positive reports show the exact fields selected for submission before
sending. Dictation sends audio only after you press the shortcut and only for
Irish/Welsh transcription. Telemetry covers
which language was selected, which rule categories fired, and the domain of the
site you were typing on, for example mail.google.com. No text content is
included in telemetry. Telemetry is off by default and starts only after an
explicit Settings opt-in. Separately, while analytics is on, de-identified,
length-capped samples of accepted corrections are sent to improve the models.
