Dead tool, good old rug pull

The overuse of AI is getting tiring. I dont want an "enhanced experience designed to make my writing sound more professional, eloquent and solid", I want a spellcheck that works on several languages, the list of which I can choose from and customize. It was perfect before, there was no reason to change it

It is a good tool but you only get a 14 day free trial after which it requires you to pay

This extension used to be great and it worked perfectly for years. Then all of a sudden it starts with annoying popups all the time and it no longer works. What a shame.

To be clear, I'm not against a developer charging for their product - I am against developers jumping on a fad bandwagon and then crying about it. You're running a SPELLCHECKER, guys, you don’t need AI to run a dictionary search.
But now we can have "AI POWERED PARAPHRASING" How, oh how did the product even operate before the blessing of AI???
I just cannot treat this seriously, sorry, Word processor had this running smoothly 15 years ago, catch up!
