ShomerDNS Checker by HEYBRODES

ShomerDNS Blocker checks the site you're about to visit against
ShomerDNS's community filter list, and blocks it with a ShomerDNS page
if it's already blocked at the DNS level — even when you're not
connected to the ShomerDNS VPN.

Previously, this extension ("ShomerDNS Checker") only flagged blocked
domains as a notice. This update makes it actively block the page.

What it does:
- Checks the domain of each page you navigate to against ShomerDNS's
filter list (the same list used by the ShomerDNS DNS service)
- Shows a block page instead of loading the site, if it's on the list
- Works without an account — no sign-in, no VPN connection required
- Fails open: if the check can't complete (offline, server issue), the
page loads normally rather than getting stuck

What it does NOT do:
- It does not block ads or trackers embedded inside otherwise-allowed
pages (that requires the full ShomerDNS VPN/DNS filtering)
- It does not store your browsing history — see our privacy policy at
