by Coldlm, 9 years agoThe only reason VDH was popular among us is because it can download the whole image set with two clicks,
Now it only can grab videos but again i don't use it for that!
and just to be clear, the companion software is only available on Linux and its only for converting as far as i can see, so again, whats the point!
The web extension needs to be what we always knew and expect it to be not this.

- Rated 5 out of 5by sjpotashner, 9 hours agoFunctions as advertised. I especially like the capacity to save different formats and resolutions. A nice recent feature is that the video titles are preserved in the saved file names. I also use it to extract audio (music) from videos.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Shinigami117, a day agoWorks on tons of different websites. Downloads are quick and easy. My only complaint is that is has occasional glitches where it fails to download the full video, but those glitches are rare.

I particularly like that it enables me to decide what quality I need for any particular download, so I am not wasting space on the laptop
