Have been using the add-on for a while now and have really appreciated the UI overhaul update done a little while back, makes it much more cohesive with YouTube's design language.

However, although it's already quite nice, it can look a bit busy on the top of the interface with three rows of buttons and also distracting on the bottom with the motion of the bar loading comments as you’re trying to watch the video.

My sole use for the add-on is to be able to see the actual top comments on a video since YouTube unfortunately chooses to algorithmise the process. With this use-case in mind, to have a more stripped down/minimal layout that I and others alike could opt into with perhaps only the settings and sort by notches would make this add-on perfect.

My ideal layout would be all three rows removed and to have the notches live at the top of the interface next to the chevron. I think making the search bar a dropdown rather than being a static input field could help reduce space as well. The comment loader could also just be a far smaller icon that could work into the top of the interface so that there aren’t any icons living at the bottom.

Again, I want to thank you for the work done so far on this project! I hope you take my suggestions into consideration but even if not this already stands as a fantastic solution to viewing comments on YouTube.

And one of the most important things is that it is developed by a responsive author who listens to the wishes of users.

Very helpful! Much more efficient than using Ctrl+F to look for specific keywords in comments.

EDIT: After using this for a bit, it would be helpful if I could disable the names of users appearing in the search, and sort out replies/parent comments. Otherwise, still an amazing add-on! This really should have more downloads.

Time Auto Load Comments doesnt work. I have created an issue for this.
